After 15 years of leading creative and marketing teams within the non-profit and corporate spaces, I decided to take SHC full-time, focusing my efforts into helping small business owners across the country improve their branding and digital presence in a way that attracts and converts clients.

When Erin and I created Skunk Hill Creative, we wanted to provide small businesses the opportunity to have thoughtful, imaginative, and meaningful branding and creative to power their business and customer experiences.
I believe a business’s brand is its foundation and because of that I take great pride and care in cultivating our client’s brand personality and marketing. I do this through a people-first approach. I learn your story. I learn who you are. I learn who you want to be.

Tucked in the back is the small lump of Skunk Hill, foreground the infamous red truck of the Yergler family – ask us about it.
Behind the Name
Whitewashed and worn, the straight and narrow State Road 39 runs like an arrow through Northern Indiana. And nestled along it rests the old Yergler farm – a home to many and haven to all. Sitting tall and proud behind the old farmhouse, dairy barns and grain silos, rests Skunk Hill, an old sand dune in which all generations of the Yergler family played, conquered or was conquered. Whether it was used as a summertime sledding hill, ATV track, or arrowhead excavation site, Skunk Hill cultivated creativity, curiosity, bravery and endless memories for many generations of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of Willard and Dolores Yergler. But it also served as a spot of refuge for local wildlife during the fall and winter months when the property would flood out. It was a particular favorite amongst skunks who hibernated throughout the harsh northern Indiana winters. Hence ... the name Skunk Hill. So why name our business after Skunk Hill? As the proud granddaughter of two sets of hardworking, blue collar entrepreneurs, it is important to me to pay homage to the integrity and work ethic of generations of small business owners who came before me. Skunk Hill Creative is for them.
